During the Final Battle, Fred Weasley was captured by Death Eaters, who held him captive for over three years. Fred was never quite certain if any of his captors were among the publicly known Death Eaters or not, since they always wore robes and masks around him to avoid identification. He was abused and tortured by them in various ways. However, Fred recalls very little of these events, between repressed memories and memory charms cast upon him. Despite the Death Eaters' treatment of Fred, they never once tried to kill him. They thought he was more valuable alive for reasons that Fred was never made aware of.
A few months ago, Fred managed to escape his captors. One of them was foolish enough to give Fred back his wand, which Fred had been denied during his imprisonment. Fred proceeded to cast the Stunning Spell on the Death Eater, taking his robes and mask to slip out to freedom unnoticed. Fred went back to the site of Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes, looking for George. Since the shop no longer exists, he was greeted with a "for lease" sign in the window. He collapsed in the doorway, where he was found by the shopkeeper at Number 95. He was taken to St. Mungo's to recover, where he was reunited with his family. He and George now share a flat in Hogsmeade, and he's very happy to have his twin back with him. He would rather die than lose his brother again. Currently, he and George are working on some new products and hope to get Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes back on track soon. Though his main concerns were healing and getting his life back on track. But George ended up dying of unknown causes. Or so Fred made it out for everyone to believe.
Truth be told, in no time at all during his hostage situation, Fred was converted to the dark side. Those three years that Fred was captured and tortured, he was actually in the process of becoming more powerful. Only a couple months after being taken, Fred had the dark mark blended into his skin. But Fred didn't want to be a servant to the Dark Lord and he didn't want to be a follower. He wanted to be a leader and he wasn't going to let anything stand in his way. In his rise to the top, Fred murdered some of the high ranking Death Eaters making him next in line to be the Dark Lord next to Lucius Malfoy.
When the finally battle went on between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort, both of them ended up dying in the end. Before Lucius had control over the Death Eaters, Fred took the lead of the Death Eaters, making him the new Dark Lord. Since he has become the Dark Lord, he has ordered most of his family to death or at least made it look like it. When Fred returned to town and told everyone the huge lie of him being captured, only one person didn't believe him, his twin brother. George was determined to find out why Fred did what he did and why he chose the path that he did, but he refused to tell. George had no choice, for the safety of the world, he needed to kill Fred. But he failed. In return, Fred ended up murdering George.
After everything took place and people where gotten out of the way, he set his eyes on something else, well more like someone else. He was in love, since his days in Hogwarts and he was determine to make this lady his for life. Hunting her down, finally, he came to find out she was the Headmistress of Hogwarts. With very satisfying thoughts going through his head at once, Fred made a visit to Kiah McGregor. He told her all about what happened over the years and unlike many she didn't run from him. In fact he did win her heart and he talked her into becoming a death eater. But these sources are unknown, no one has ever been able to tell whether or not the Headmistress is with the good or bad. All that was known was that she was in love with him and he was in love with her.
Basically as it stands, the Dark Side has taken over the school but no one has yet to find out about it. It is a secret, no one knows about the Headmistress being with the Dark Lord and no one really knows WHO the dark lord is now. Come join us and see what happens.
